Are you looking into timber flooring for your residential or commercial project in the Pennant Hills area? Well look no further than Esspada, your timber flooring experts. We know there are many businesses in Sydney that handle flooring, but none of them have the knowledge, range and expertise – as well as competitive pricing – that we have.
We know that there are some who will tell you that vinyl, laminate or composite flooring is the way to go. And there are some advantages to these flooring products, like their overall maintenance and cost being a bit less than the timber equivalent. However we here at Esspada also believe that there’s no substitute for the look and feel of real timber flooring. It is our best-selling product, and we like to think that it adds grace and class to any room in the house.
One product we stock is our engineered timber floors. Engineered timber floors offer a great more cost-effective flooring alternative to traditional solid timber, in terms of price, all with a more environmentally friendly footprint. Engineered timber flooring has a host of benefits that traditional solid timber flooring doesn’t.
While traditional timber hardwood flooring is iconic, engineered timber floors reduce the problems that can occur when hardwood is exposed to moisture. Higher quality engineered floors like Elyseum don’t swell or warp as drastically and can have an overall more stable structure. It’s a great solution that offers easier maintenance than solid timber flooring.
Engineered timber flooring, also known as floating timber, is made from real wood. The top of each engineered timber flooring plank is manufactured with a layer of timber (a lamella) generally 2-4mm thick. Engineered timber floors are covered by layers of lacquer or polish, and supplemented underneath with a core of pine, fir or plywood. The highest quality engineered timber flooring such as Elyseum, have several layers of UV protective and scratch resistant natural polish finishes and have a solid hardwood timber cores for superior stability and structural properties with lamella layers from 3-6mm.
We also stock traditional solid timber floors. Solid timber flooring has a natural glow that implies class and superior quality feel to any room. The beauty of it is having the option to select between multiple colour options and grain patterns, which can be an enjoyable process for those who are not certain about which flooring colour grade they need.
Once the installation process is completed, you can potentially create any colour finish you desire suitable to your lifestyle and the interior design of your place. Hardwood timber flooring is made from slow growing trees. As a result, hardwood is strong, tough, and robust. Each solid timber flooring in our collection is rated with a Janka rating to give you a measurable rank of how hard each species of hardwood is. Well able to take the punishment of heavy foot traffic, as well as daily wear and tear. They make remarkable floors that will serve your home for the span of your lifetime, and longer.
