Chevron pattern floors have been a trend for an extensive period of time, in both residential and commercial premises, with Esspada Collection having years of experience in supplying and installing chevron floors in different lengths and widths to bring any design to life. Chevron is different than herringbone, where the latter has the left and right parts placed at an angle of 90 degrees, while the top side is at right angles to the long side of the floorboard next to it, while with chevron, the floorboards are in more of an ‘arrow head’ design.

CHEVRON FLOOR INSTALLATION

At Esspada, there are a number of innovative chevron timber boards that can be installed in the floating method.  This make the installation process much more efficient and means that you can walk of the new flooring straight after installation, without a, acclimatisation, drying or waiting period.  This means that you can achieve a parquetry ‘style’ of finish without the extended sanding and polishing times or difficulties. 

CHEVRON WOODEN FLOORS COLORS

Most of our chevron floors are made from French or European oak, which are known for their durability, hardness and timeless enrichment, and Esspada stocks chevron floors in Sydney in a range of beautiful colours and rustic textures. 

CHEVRON FLOORS DURABILITY

Chevron floors are oiled with a 100% sustainable oil which guarantees optimal floor protection against external influences, such as water, coffee, wine and beer.  In the Elyseum chevron products, these coatings also boast a super E-0 emissions rating (also known as Japanese F-4 Star rating), which means that there are no harmful formaldehyde emissions and zero volatile organic compounds present.  These floors are not only durable but also enable healthy living.

CHEVRON FLOORS MAINTENANCE

Chevron floors can basically be cleaned every day, but that is not necessary, however it’s wise to vacuum and damp mop the floors while using the right cleaning solution for it.  Please see our helpful staff to be advised on the correct cleaning products to use.
